The first mobile telephone service (car phone) introduced in the late 1940s in US and in early 1950s in Europe. The phone technology growth its path in a huge technology, every generation replace the previous generation. The first generation (1G) mobile phone had only voice facility. There were replaced by second generation (2G) digital phones. These have voice facility with added fax, data, and messaging services. Then multimedia facility has added in to 2G phones, it’s called third generation (3G) technology phones. And now day’s talks are about next generation (4G) mobile technology phones expecting it’s come out with more advanced features. This is expected to be available in market by 2010.

The mobile communication is based on electromagnetic radiation. Electromagnetic radiation was propounded by Clark Maxwell in 1857 explained mathematically the behavior of electromagnetic waves. After that Mr. G. Marconi was find radio transmission in 1901. The first wireless communication devise is radio in the world. Meanwhile it provided only one way receiving communication. It’s a single way communication, which didn’t satisfy the communication, from those inventers started to find the both way communication. The result invention is the first generation mobile phones.

Telephones are one of the communications devises. It means an instrument for transmitting the sound of voice by means of electricity through wires. Phones are mainly divided into two kinds. Those are land/fixe phones and other one is mobile communication devices. Now these days internet telephone took more place in the majority. The invention of the telecommunication shrinks the world.
